Naruki Oshima's work tells of principles. There is magic in motion. There is energy in change. There is vigour in serenity and there is vivacity in peace. Stillness reveals the secrets of eternity, and movement the fragility of the moment.
There is a something in this modern artist, an internal knowledge of fundamentals, creating a difference in his everyday, compelling him to express an inner world, to express an energy, motion –emotion -  of inner forces, thus inspiring us with bewilderment and exhilaration.

Emotion itself sometimes seems multiplied in Naruki's work which on first glance doesn't really show much of it, suddenly expanding deep within the works hidden soul, and following the downplay blowing away his audience with sheer force.
We are in awe of the quiet strength, soothing beauty and the fierce sensitivity of his incredible body of work, its purposeful fine art photography at its best.

Naruki Oshima was born in 1963.
